McConnellsburg 17 Forbes Road 3 (5 Innings)

Waterfall, Pa. – Forbes Road (3-11, 2-10 ICC) lost to the McConnellsburg (10-9, 8-6 ICC) 17 to 3 in five innings in ICC action.  Madison Hays went 3 2/3 innings with one strike out.  Harlie Strait and Brianna Waters also saw action on the mound. The Cardinals offense was led by Brianna Waters, who had 2 singles driving in 2 runs.  Mara Broadwater also had one single, driving in a run.  Quincy McMath and Payton Kendall also added singles.  Destiny Hall pitched all five innings for the Lady Spartans with one strike out.  Hall also hit a home run and single, driving in 4 runs.  Julia Lafferty had 2 singles and 2 doubles, driving in 4 runs.  Karah Stiffler, Matty Ross, and Sidney Rezzentano each added hits as well. McConnellsburg is scheduled to travel to Hyndman on Friday. Forbes Road is scheduled to host Southern Fulton on Monday at 4:30.
