Warfordsburg, Pa. – Southern Fulton (2-4, 2-4 ICC) picked up a big conference win against Fannett Metal (4-3, 4-2 ICC) tonight, winning 11-7. Kylie Golden was the winning pitcher for Southern Fulton and was also 1-3 with an RBI. Julia Barnhart led the Indians going 2-4 with 3 RBIs. Jessie Covalt was 3-4 with an RBI and Hailee Strait went 2-4 and picked up 2 RBIs. The Tigers were led by K. Miley and L. Stoufer who both went 3 for 3 and scored 2 runs each. Fannett Metal will host Big Spring on Saturday, while Southern Fulton will host Hancock on Monday at 4:30.

McConnellsburg 12 Forbes Road 2

McConnellsburg, Pa. – McConnellsburg (4-3, 4-2 ICC) hosted league rival Forbes Road (1-6, 1-5 ICC) and downed the Cardinals 12 to 2. the Spartans outhit the Cardinals 10 to 6. Matty Ross led the Spartans going 3 for 4 and Kaele Deshong went 2 for 2. Destiny Hall homered and was the winning pitcher. Spartan Coach Dana Winters said, “We hit the ball tonight and only 2 errors.” Madison Hayes and Mara Broadwater led Forbes Road both going 2 for 3 from the plate. Forbes Road will travel to Southern Fulton on Tuesday at 4:30, while McConnellsburg will travel to Southern Huntingdon on Monday for a double header with the first game scheduled to start at 2:00.
