GIRLS LACROSSE
Central Dauphin 20, Chambersburg 9: The Trojans’ offense more than doubled its output from their first game, but fell to the Rams in a Mid Penn Commonwealth game Monday.

“The girls played a really intense game,” Trojan coach Keara Allshouse said. “They showed improvements in their defense and offense compared to Friday’s game. It also let us know what we need to work on before our next game Thursday (vs. Lower Dauphin).”

Ashlyn Bothe tallied four times for Chambersburg (0-2), and Ashley Bawell also hit the net four times. Emma Grimm also scored a goal.

Allshouse said, “Bawell got her first varsity goal, and after she got one, she was on fire.”
