Clear Spring 5 McConnellsburg 1

Clear Spring, Md. – Field issues caused a switch in sites as the McConnellsburg Lady Spartan softball team (0-1) traveled to Clear Spring for a non league matchup. The Blazers outhit the Spartans 8 to 1 in route to a 5 to 1 win. Destiny Hall had the lone Spartan hit going 1-3 with a double . McConnellsburg Coach Dana Winters commented, “It was our first game of the season and we didn’t hit the ball well.  We got the bat on the ball but hit it right to them.  Destiny pitched a good game with 7 strike outs . We had some mental errors.”
