Spartan Coach Josh Lowery said, “We played a tough game tonight on the road! Our young players really stepped up to the plate tonight, two of them scoring double figures. Another added bonus was Dominick Reed reached his 1,000 career points. It was definitely a game to watch. Both teams came to play!”

Mellott (18 points, 5 assists) and Funk (15 points) led the McConnellsburg scoring attack.  Garman paced the Cardinals with 19, while Hall added 16.  Logan Deshong added 9 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists in his all around effort for the hosts.  JV – MHS 38 FR 29 (Austin Swisher 9, Austin Johnson 8 FR  Wyatt McGowan 13) Forbes Road returns to action on Monday, hosting Williamsburg and conducting senior night ceremonies.  McConnellsburg travels to Shalom Christian on Tuesday.  Both teams are scheduled to play three games next week as their respective regular seasons conclude in preparation for District Playoffs.
