SELINSGROVE — Chambersburg’s Tyeshawn Worrell was a part of two school indoor track & field records on Sunday at the Susquehanna University Invitational.
Worrell ran the 60-yard dash in 7.00 in the final to place third out of 59 entrants and set a record.
The 4 x 200 relay team of Donovan Moses, Diontae Barbour, Karter Jones and Worrell placed third among 25 teams and its time of 1:34.56 was a school record. Worrell’s anchor leg was 22.8.
Trentin Overcash has two runner-up finishes at Susquehanna, in the 800 (2:03.37) and the mile (4:37.89).
The Trojan 4 x 400 relay team was fifth in 3:38.50 and included Worrell, Jones, Barbour and Moses.
Also for the boys, Brock Harmon threw the shot 48-6.25 to place third.
For the girls, Shanelle Burrowes posted a time of 27.47 to finish second in the 200, and she was also seventh in the long jump with a leap of 15-5.75.
Madison Yost placed eighth in the shot put (31-10) and was won of nine Trojans who had season-best efforts.
