The Shippensburg Greyhounds scored 53 second half points on the way to an 87-59 win over Boiling Springs in Mid Penn Colonial action Tuesday night.
The Greyhounds placed three players in double figures led by Sophomore center Collin Taylor who led all scorers with 28 points. He was joined by Jayden Statum with 14 and Freshman Anthony Smith with 13.
The Greyhounds led 34-30 at the half, but scored 23 points in the third and 30 in the fourth to run away with their 8th win of the season, 8-4 (5-2 in conference). Boiling Springs dropped to 3-10.
Shippensburg returns to action Wednesday night at home in a non-league game against Mechanicsburg. That game can be seen on Mid Penn Broadcasting starting at 7:15.
