GA girls remain undefeated in conference, boys lose to Northern

GIRLS:The Greencastle- Antrim Lady Blue Devils won their tenth game of the season defeating Northern York 33-25 at Greencastle last night. The Blue Devils are 7-0 in MPC Colonial Division play and 10-3 overall. The Blue Devils overcame a rough third quarter where they only scored four points but still outscored the Polar Bears 4-3 . Greencastle built a 10-9 first quarter lead and led 19-10 at the half.

Sayge Wilhide had nine points to lead the Lady Blue Devils. Ashley True scored six and Madison Sweitzer and Lydia Crist added five.

The Lady Blue Devils will host Boiling Springs Friday night at 7:30 p.m. The game can be seen at Mid Penn Broadcasting.

BOYS:The Greencastle boys kept it close in the first half at Northern last night trailing only 29-26 but the Polar Bears took advantage of Blue Devils turnovers to start the second half with a 12-0 run and rolled to a 63-44 win over Greencastle.

The Polar Bears have now won 12 in a row and are 13-1 on the season and 7-0 in the Mid Penn Colonial. The Blue Devils fall to 4-10 overall (1-6 MPC Colonial).

The Blue Devils travel to Boiling Springs on Friday.
