Windber 48 McConnellsburg 40

McConnellsburg, Pa. – McConnellsburg (0-1) hosted the Ramblers from Windber and fell in a non league contest 48 to 40. The Spartans had the lead going into halftime,up by 5 points, but were unable to hold the lead in the second half. Spartan Coach Josh Lowery commented, “Windber started the second half in a full court man to man, and we got into early foul trouble. It was a hard fought game by both teams but Windber came out on top.” Dominick Reed lead the Spartans with 17 points, 8 rebounds and Colton Mellott chipped in another 14 points. JV MHS 47 W 43. McConnellsburg will host Tussey Mountain on Friday at 7:30 in their first Inter County League contest.
