Willow Hill, Pa. – After a scoreless first half, Fannett Metal (4-2-1, 3-1 ICC) scored 3 second half goals to defeat Southern Fulton (5-6, 3-3 ICC) 3 to 0 in an Inter County Conference matchup. Billy Peppernick, and Tanner Seibert each found the back of the net for the Tigers. Colby Whiteside had 16 saves for the Indians. Shots – SF 6 FM 26. Corners – SF 2 FM 4. Hervey Hann, Southern Fulton Coach, commented, “We never showed up for the game. We just did not come to play. The only bright spot was Colby who played the best game I have seen him play. He made some unbelievable saves and really keep us in the game the first half. The first goal was scored by us in their goal. We didn’t play well in either half.” Fannett Metal will travel to Shalom Christian Academy on Saturday, while Southern Fulton will travel to Everett on October 2, at 7:00.

Loysburg, Pa. – The MHS Boys Soccer Team (7-2, 4-1 ICC) was leading NBC 5-0 at halftime before the game was called due to unsafe field conditions.  Goals were scored by Landon Seiders (2), Brady Daniels (2) and Gage Henry.  Landon Seiders, Brady Daniels, and Hayden Schetrompf each had an assist.  Caleb Strait had one save in the goal.  Shots – MHS 18 NBC 0. Corners – MHS 6 NBC 0. McConnellsburg will host Rockwood on Saturday at 1:00.
