The James Buchanan Rocket girls and boys soccer teams got their 2018 seasons underway last weekend, both hosting their own JB soccer tournament.

The JB girls won their tournament, beating Annville-Cleona 3-0 in the championship. They reached the final by defeating Fannett-Metal (no score was available). On Tuesday night, the Lady Rockets (3-0) defeated Big Spring, 7-1.

The Rocket boys beat Littlestown 3-2 in the opening game of its tournament, but lost 7-4 to Everett in the championship. On Tuesday night, JB (2-1) lost 3-0 to Big Spring.
