The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers came away with an important Mason-Dixon Christian Conference victory on Tuesday, defeating Grace Academy in three games in girls volleyball.
The Blazers (6-0, 5-0 MDCC) earned three straight tight wins, 25-18, 25-20 and 25-17.
“It was a good win for us tonight,” CVCS coach Carole Rosenberry said. “Emilee Beam put 10 kills on the board followed closely by Tahra Kennedy and Kaitlin Provard with 9 each and Hunter Timmons added 8. Ryleigh Timmons played a great defensive game with 13 digs.”
Mackenzie Householder added 28 assists and 5 digs, Taylor Heck contributed 6 assists, Beam had 4 aces, Provard added 3 blocks, and Kerri Potteiger registered 4 digs.
The Blazers host Shalom Friday in an MDCC match.
