The James Buchanan Lady Rocket tennis team continued its undefeated start to the 2018 season.

JB (7-0) handed Trinity a 4-1 defeat Tuesday, winning 2 of 3 singles and sweeping the doubles.

Singles winners for the Lady Rockets were Maggie Strawoet (No. 1, 6-1, 6-2) and Amber Clark (No. 2, 6-3, 6-1). Both doubles teams had to go 3 sets, but each pulled out the victories. At No. 1 doubles, Lindsey Myers and Kierra Griffith won 7-5, 3-6, 6-2 while at No. 2, Megan Rummel and Ashley Grove won 5-7, 6-2, 6-4.
