Greencastle 12U All Stars lost their first game Thursday night falling to Carlisle 3-0. Carlisle scored three runs in the second inning coming up with three hits. Spencer Griffie had an RBI single. Clinton Barclay and Atticus Renault also had base hits and Greencastle committed three errors in the inning. Tyler Reidenbach pitched the first 3 2/3 innings to pick up the victory striking out eight. Lonnie Shank finished the game on the mound for Carlisle allowing  two hits and striking out three.

Garrett Decker had two hits for Greencastle, Andrew Kerns and Cooper Swam each had a hit. Greencastle falls to the losers bracket and will now play Dillsburg Friday at Spring Grove at 6:00 p.m.. in an elimination game. The game can be heard on Mid Penn Broadcasting. Carlisle is now 2-0 in the double elimination tournament and will play the winner of the Northeastern -Dallastown game on Saturday.
