Forbes Road 5 Southern Fulton 4 (8 Innings)

Warfordsburg, Pa. Forbes Road (4-8) traveled to Southern Fulton (5-11) and picked up a league win over the Lady Indians 5 to 4 in and eight inning contest. Kylie Golden took the loss for Southern Fulton. Southern Fulton travels to Tussey Mt. on May 9th for a 4:30 start while the Cardinals host Fannett Metal for a double header on May 11th with the first game scheduled to start at 3:00.

Fannett Metal 7 Northern Bedford 4 (9 Innings)

Loysburg, Pa. Fannett-Metal (10-6) picked up it’s 10th win of the year in extra innings.  Tori Swailes picked up the first hit for the Lady Tigers in the third which helped build a 2 to 0 lead.  The lead expanded in the fifth when Jamie Adams doubled home Morgan Ritchey.  Adams would later score on an RBI single by Kassie Holtry.  In the bottom of the 7th, NBC rallied from a 4 to 2 deficit to tie the game at 4 and send it to extras.  However, the Lady Tigers did not fold and ultimately got the win by scoring three runs in the top of the ninth sparked by a Ritchey triple.  Holtry pitched all nine innings and did not allow an earned run.  Fannett-Metal hosts Northern Bedford on Thursday at 4:30.
