The Greencastle -Antrim Blue Devils won their second game in a row defeating Trinity 6-1 at Camp Hill on Friday. Trenton Shaffer went the distance scattering five hits over seven innings, allowing just a first inning run and striking out seven while walking two. The Blue Devils improve to 8-6 on the season.

Cade Marshall delivered a 2 run single for the Blue Devils.
The Blue Devils got on the board in the top of the first inning on an RBI single by Nathan Starliper to take a 1-0 lead. Trinity scored their only run in the bottom of the first to tie the game at 1-1. The Blue Devils took the lead for good in the top of the second when Cade McDowell had a line drive single to right field, with one out Hunter Forney singled sending Cade McDowell to third. Max McDowell hit a sacrifice fly to give Greencastle a 2-1 lead they would never relinquish. The game remained at 2-1 until the Blue Devils exploded for four runs in the top of the sixth inning. A two run single by Cade Marshall, an RBI single by Hunter Forney and another run scored on a passed ball to seal the victory for Greencastle.

Hunter Forney was 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Blue Devils.
The Blue Devils return to action on Monday when they host the Chambersburg Trojans at 4:15 p.m. The game will be broadcast on WRGG 93.7 FM and Mid Penn Broadcasting.
