Chestnut Ridge 14 McConnellsburg 7

Fishertown, Pa. McConnellsburg (2-5, 2-4 SHL, 2-3 ICC) traveled to Chestnut Ridge and dropped a Sideling Hill League game 14 to 7. Kylie Garland, Matty Ross, and Destiny Hall led the Lady Spartans with two hits each. McConnellsburg Coach Dana Winters commented, “This was out best hitting game of the season. But we gave up 7 runs on 6 errors.” McConnellsburg will travel to Southern Fulton on Friday for a double header with the Lady Indians. The first game is scheduled to begin at 3:00.

Everett 10 Fannett Metal 0

Willow Hill, Pa. Fannett Metal (4-4, 3-3 SHL, 3-2 ICC) dropped a league contest to a strong Everett team 10 to 0. Everett broke a close game open in the top of the 7th scoring 7 runs in the inning.  Kassie Holtry finished with a double for the Lady Tigers. Fannett-Metal hosts Chestnut Ridge today at 1:30.
