Everett, Pa. Forbes Road scored 5 runs in the top of the fifth to break open a one run game and went on to a 6 to 0 league win over Everett. Brycen Hohman pitched seven strong innings striking out six and walking only two. Hohman also scored two runs for the Cardinals. Forbes Road out hit Everett five to three. The Cardinals are back in action on Wednesday when they host Hyndman Charter at 4:30.

McConnellsburg 6 Tussey Mt. 5

Saxton, Pa. McConnellsburg scored two times in the second and three more in the 3rd to hold on to a 6-5 victory over league foe Tussey Mt. Cale Harmon had two hits for the Spartans.  Musser hit a two run homer for Tussey to make it 6-4 in the 6th.  In the 7th three straight hits and a walk led to one run scored and bases loaded for the Titans.  Two plays at the plate and a running catch for center fielder Bryce Feagley preserved the victory for the Spartans.
