The James Buchanan Lady Rocket softball team made quick work of Boiling Springs, winning 15-0 in 5 innings Thursday in a Mid Penn Colonial Division game.

Carly Caron had the hot bat for JB (3-1, 2-1 MPC), going 3-for-4 with 2 RBI. Jenna Mongold contributed a base-clearing triple and Maria Burkett and Paige Doyle each scored 3 runs. Lizzie Pittman limited the Bubblers to 1 hit and struck out 8.

“Carly had a good game hitting and catching,” JB coach Troy Pittman said.
