The Greyhounds continued their season as they dropped Dover 53-52 and get the opportunity to guarantee themselves a PIAA spot when they take on Ephrata on Monday at 7:30 PM at East Pennsboro High School.

A win would put the Greyhounds in the game for the ninth and tenth spots in the Class 5A field. The top 10 teams make the upcoming PIAA field.

The Greyhounds held the lead at the half and fell behind in the third quarter and spent the final eight minutes of the game battling from behind. They outscored the eagles 16-15 in the final quarter.

Senior Alaric Hickman led the Greyhounds with 18 points and senior Carter Van Scyoc added 14 points.  Shippensburg made 15 of 21 at the foul line to offset the seven 3-pointers made by the Eagles.

Keith Davis and Elijah Sutton led the Eagles with 15 points each.
