Shippensburg swimming

The Greyhounds celebrated Senior Night on Thursday and they ended up splitting the meet with Mechanicsburg. The girls won 128-55 and the boys dropped their meet 94-92. The Greyhounds needed a first and third in the final event- the 400 Fee relay but only were able to win the event.

Double event winners for the Greyhounds were Makenna Morris (200 IM and 200 fly), Madison Osanitsch ( 100 back and 100 free), and Julia Strine (200 free and 500 free). All three also participated in two relay winners.

Elijah Zinn won the 50 free and 100 free as the only double winner for the boys. Sam Nonemaker (200 IM)and Kaiden Estep (500 free) each won their individual events.

Jonathan Tucker won two events for the Wildcats.

Both teams prepare for the Mid-Penn post season to start on February 9th and 10th at Cumberland Valley.

Mid-Penn Diving starts on February 5th for AA divers at Big Spring and AAA divers on February 7th at Cumberland Valley.
