Southern Fulton 61 McConnellsburg 37

The Indians of Southern Fulton hosted their county rival McConnellsburg (5-10, 3-8 SHL, 3-7 ICC) tonight in Warfordsburg and came away with a 61-37 victory.  SF improves to 13-4 (10-1 ICC and 10-2 SHL) on the season.  Mitchell Potter tossed in a game high 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.  Gabe Stotler chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds.  Justin Morris had 10 points to go with 5 assists.  Dominick Reed led the Spartans with 14 points. Southern Fulton won the JV contest 65-24 and were led by Josh Stocker’s 21 points. The Indians, finish out their home season on Tuesday as they host Berlin Brothersvalley at 6pm. The Spartans host Tussey Mt. on February 5.

Fannett Metal 63 Forbes Road 62

Fannett Metal (2-15, 1-13 SHL, 1-10 ICC) hosted league rival Forbes Road (7-9, 4-7 SHL, 4-5 ICC) and won a very tight game 63-62. The Tigers were led by Timber Brookens with 23 points. Cardinal Brycen Hohman led all scorers with 26 points. Tiger Assistant Coach Tony Brookens said, “It was a good game. Both teams played hard and it went down to the wire. No JV game. Both teams are back in action on February 5 as Fannett Metal travels to Northern Bedford and Forbes Road heads to Belleville Mennonite.
