The Greencastle-Antrim Lady Blue Devils had their biggest offensive night of the season and snapped a four game losing streak with a 52-44 win over the James Buchanan Rockets. The Blue Devils survived a late surge by the Rockets who had a 15 point deficit cut to just six with a little over a minute remaining.
Lydia Crist lead the way for Greencastle with 21 points. McKenna Rakaczewski came off the bench for Greencastle to score 13 points and Ashley Noblit added eight for the Blue Devils. Maggie Strawoet and Cass Martin each had 10 points for the Rockets. Rachel Manikowski scored eight and Abby Mackling six.
With the win the Blue Devils improve to 7-8 and it was their third win over the Rockets this season. James Buchanan falls to 5-12.
Greencastle will play at Big Spring on Friday night at 7:30. James Buchanan will host Southern Fulton Saturday night at 6:00 p.m.
