Boys Basketball 1/23/18 FM’s Lucas Wingert Hits Milestone

Tussey Mountain 67, Fannett-Metal 66

Fannett-Metal (1-13, 0-11SHL, 0-9 ICC) lost a heartbreaker to visiting Tussey Mountain 67-66. Lucas Wingert led all scorers with 28 points while surpassing the 1,000 point milestone. Matt Leonard and Devin Swope paced the Titans 19 points each. F-M assistant coach Tony Brookens commented, “We had three good shots to put the game away but they just wouldn’t go.” There was no JV game. The Tigers travel to McConnellsburg on January 26.
