Chambersburg 50, State College 25: The Trojans won five of the first six bouts and captured a 50-25 victory over State College in a Mid Penn Commonwealth match on Thursday.
Spencer Runshaw (138) started with a technical fall, followed by pins from Tate Nichter (145) and Drake Brenize (152). After a defeat, Luke Nichter (170) picked up a major decision, then Guy Lozius (182) scored a pin to make it 27-4.
Luke Nichter, ranked No. 2 in the state, dominated No. 25 Ian Barr, 14-3, with four takedowns and a pair of nearfalls. Tate Nichter now has 20 wins, and 15 have come via pin.
Also for Chambersburg (11-2, 4-1 MPC), Tyler Smith recorded a pin with just 3 seconds left at 106, and Cole Grove (126) and Seth Runshaw (132) closed out the match with a pin and tech fall, respectively.
It was the fourth time this season the Trojans scored at least 50 points.

Chambersburg 94, Central Dauphin 76: The Trojans’ top three swimmers came through with plenty of points and helped Chambersburg defeat Central Dauphin in a Mid Penn Commonwealth meet Thursday.
C.J. Pong won the 200 IM and 100 backstroke, Avery Barley finished first in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly and Jacob Greenwood captured the 200 and 400 free races.
That trio also helped win two relays for the Trojans (5-1, 4-1 MPC) — the 200 medley with Michael Johnson and the 400 free with Aiden McMillen.
Central Dauphin 114, Chambersburg 55: The Rams took 1-2 in five individual events and two relays to beat Chambersburg in a Mid Penn Conmmonwealth meet Thursday.
For the Trojans (2-4, 2-3 MPC), Abby Reichelderfer had a big day, claiming the top spot in two races — 400 freestyle and 100 breaststroke. The team of Bree Kratz, Mandy Asbury, Jessica Yo and Emily Roat won the 200 medley relay.
Becca Fisher (breaststroke), Tamara Quispe (backstroke) and Kratz (butterfly) earned second-place finishes.
