The James Buchanan Lady Rockets broke open a close game with a big fourth quarter in their 69-52 win over the Fannett-Metal Tigers on Saturday in a non-league basketball game.

JB (5-8) produced a season-high 25 points and held the Lady Tigers to 13 in the fourth quarter to pull away after leading 44-39 at the end of the third quarter.

Cass Martin led the Lady Rockets with 20 points while Reilly Heinbaugh (18), Abby Mackling (10) and Maggie Strawoet (10) also reached double figures. F-M (6-4) had 3 players reach double-figure scoring – Ally Hoffman (18), Taylor Coffman (13) and Katie Johns (10).
