Southern Fulton 42 Forbes Road 36
Southern Fulton (6-3, 5-2 SHL, 5-1 ICC) basketball team traveled to Forbes Road (5-5, 3-4 SHL, 3-3 ICC) last night and had to grind one out as poor foul shooting (11-29) and field goal shooting (15-42) allowed a very determined FR Cardinal team to hang around. The final score was 42-36. Cooper Ritz led the Indians with 10 points and 5 rebounds. Brycen Hohman led all scorers with 18 points and Grayson Hall added 12 points and 9 rebounds. Cardinal Coach Trent Black commented, “Southern Fulton played their signature tough defense. We struggled to find quality shots, and Southern Fulton cleaned the boards to keep us from finding second shots. We have a long way to go as team, but we’re competing every night and continuing to improve.” The Cardinals travel to Everett on January 16 and the Indians travel to Northern Bedford on January 17. JV SF 41- FR 22 SF Dylan Mellott 10 points, FR Justin Garman 8 points.
