Shippensburg Swimming

The Greyhounds dropped two close meets at Northern York Tuesday. The girl’s lost 101-84 while the boy’s dropped a heart-breaker 93-92.

The boy’s won eight individual and relay races but the depth of the Polar Bears helped the Bears win the meet.

Sam Nonemaker and Eli Zinn each won two individual events and teamed up on the relays. Caleb Eveland won the 100 back stroke and Alic Site won the diving event.

The girl’s won seven events in the meet. Julia Strine won two races- the 50 free and 100 breast race. Makeena Morris also won two events- the 100 free and the 200 Individual medley race. Madison Osanitsch won the 200 free.

The 200 freestyle race was won by Shippensburg and Emily Loftus won the diving competition.

The teams will try to get back on the winning track when they host Gettysburg next Tuesday.
