Everett 43 Southern Fulton 36

The Everett Warriors traveled to Southern Fulton tonight and won a very heated defensive slugfest 43-36.  SF falls to 5-3 (4-1 ICC & 4-2 SHL).  Branden Lynch lead the Indians with 14 points and 8 rebounds.  Cooper Ritz chipped in 12.  Jarod College scored a game high 15 points for the Warriors. JV – SF 34 EHS 27 Josh Stocker 15 points. The Indians travel to Forbes Road on January 12.

McConnellsburg 72 Hyndman Charter 47

The Spartans ( 2-6) hosted the Hyndman Charter School and posted a 72-47 non league win. Dom Reed led a balanced scoring attack with a double double of 20 points and 10 rebounds. Cale Harman had 16 points, Lucas McClain added 13 points, and Colton Mellott chipped in 12 points. Spartan Coach Drew Washabaugh added, “It was probably our best all around game we have played this year.  Nice to get 4 guys in double figures.  Dom had another double double (10 rebounds).  Lucas had a very nice defensive game. I also thought our two younger guys played well (Colton and Garrett).  It was a good team win.” JV MHS 49 – Hyndman 16.  Damon Knepper 9 points. The Spartans travel to Fannett Metal on Friday.

Forbes Road 47 Fannett Metal 45 OT

The Cardinals ( 5-4, 3-3 SHL, 3-2 ICC ) hosted a very scrappy Tiger ( 1-8, 0-7 SHL, 0-5 ICC ) team and tied the score in the end of the fourth period, took its first lead of the game in overtime, and held on for the win. The Cardinals Brycen Hohman had a double double and led all scorers with 23 points and had 11 rebounds. Logan Deshong added 10 points in the win. Lucas Wingert paced the Tigers with 18 points. Colby Adams had 11 points and 9 rebounds. Forbes Road Coach Trent Black said, “FM played a strong game, outhustling us all of the first half.  We matched their effort in the second half and overtime, and we were lucky to make just enough plays to steal a win on a night our opponent really outplayed us.  Our kids deserve credit for battling through adversity.  We couldn’t find the basket most of the night.  We were down ten near the end of the third, but we scratched and clawed to force overtime.” JV FR 42 – FM 16 FR S. Schepis 15 points, B. Lupey 14 points, FM T. Allen 13 points Forbes Road will host Southern Fulton and Fannett Metal will host McConnellsburg on Friday.
