The Shippensburg Greyhounds completed their task to prepare for Wednesday night’s game against unbeaten Big Spring. They blasted host Boiling Springs on Monday night 63-26 to move to 2-0 in the Colonial and 3-2 overall.

Big Spring hosts the Greyhounds Wednesday at 6:30 PM. The Bulldogs are 3-0 overall and 3-0 in the division. Both teams still have to play unbeaten Greencastle-Antrim in the first round of the league.

The ‘Hounds jumped out to a 20-4 first quarter lead and later led 38-13 at the half.

Tori Brumbaugh led the Greyhounds with 21 points, including five three-pointers. Senior Mariah Martin added her 15 to the mix. Sam Barmont tallied 11 and Kara Newell and Remy Staver each added six to the Greyhound total.

Sydney Hemler was high scorer for the Bubblers with 19 of their total of 26 points. Olivia Olsen added five, including a trey for the Bubblers, who fall to 0-3 in the Colonial and 0-4 overall.
