The Shippensburg girls basketball team split their two games in the Muncy Rotary Tournament this past weekend.

They dropped a 59-34 decision to Northeast Area on Friday and crushed Muncy in the consolation game 52-19 on Saturday.

Wellsboro won the tournament as they beat Muncy 52-31 and Northeast Area 57-55 in the final.

The Greyhounds open the Colonial Division season on Tuesday as they host Northern York at 7:30pm. The team opens with three consecutive home games as they will also host Spring Grove on Thursday and Commonwealth powerhouse Harrisburg on Saturday at 2:00pm.
