Greencastle-Antrim defeated Northern 3-0 in the opening round of district play Saturday at Palmyra. The Blue Devils swept Northern 25-17,25-14-25-17.

Rachel Verhoef recorded 10 kills for Greencastle, Kerri Gearhart 9 and Baylee Schaeffer 7. Madee Goodwin made 11 digs, and Kerri Gearhar had 9. Bailey Wilson racked up 30 assists for the Blue Devils.

Greencastle will play Palmyra Tuesday October 31 at Palmyra Area High School at 7:00 p.m. in the District 3 quarterfinals.
