Chambersburg 4, Waynesboro 0: The Trojans evened their record at 1-1 with a non-league victory over Waynesboro on Wednesday. Chambersburg outshot the Maidens, 20-4.

Rachel Dusman scored twice for the Trojans, and Brynn Kegerreis and Jess Champion also found the net. Kegerreis, Sage Piper and Hannah Raines contributed assists.

GOLF

Trojans win 4th match: In a Mid Penn Colonial golf tournament at Greencastle Golf Club shortened to just 9 holes because of persistent rain Wednesday, Chambersburg came out on top of Northern York by 26 strokes. The Trojans are now 24-0.

Austin Schreffler of Northern took medalist honors with a 35, followed by Chambersburg’s Spencer Rajtik (36), Karsen Rush (37) and Mary Kate Norcross (38) in the next three places. Grayson Hopple tied for seventh with a 40.

Waynesboro’s Devin Smith shot 39 to place sixth, as the Indians beat James Buchanan in a tiebreaker for third place. JB’s Caleb Reath and Shippensburg’s Dillon Labonte each shot 40, while Greencastle-Antrim’s top golfer was Amanda Steier with a 43.
