Greencastle-Antrim 11, James Buchanan 0: The Blue Devils had it going against the Rockets on Friday afternoon in a non-league contest in Mercersburg and rolled to a big win.

Greencastle (2-1) spread the scoring around, with 7 different players finding the net. Chloe Parks, Ava Witmer and Braelyn Cordell each scored a pair of goals. Lily Black, Daisy Black, Sadie Burns and Avery Russell each scored one goal.

In the assist department, Parks and Lilah Overcash each helped out on two goals, while Arianna Lewis had one assist.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY
Blue Devils claim 5th place: In the inaugural Blue Devil Invitational held in Greencastle on Friday evening, the host team placed fifth in teh team standings.

Billy Bender was the top finisher for G-A, running his home course in 19:54 to place 15th, followed immediately in 16th by Micah Barrett (20:03).

Also scoring were Kelson Wenger (26th, 20:40), Ace Monn (29th, 20:46) and Trent Gouker (45th, 21:33). Colin Thomas placed 45th in 21:59 and Tristan Maratin was 51st in 22:04.

The G-A girls did not compete as a team, but Sophia Denlinger placed 28th (26:44) and Monica Schemel was 31st (26:58).
