Chambersburg 5, Carlisle 0: The Trojans raised their record to 2-0 by blanking the Thundering Herd in a Mid Penn Commonwealth match on the road on Thursday.

And, for the second straight match, Chambersburg (2-0, 1-0 MPC) won each match in straight sets.

The Trojans’ Leah Wadel won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles over Sonoma Pham, Olivia Keller took a 6-2, 6-0 win vs. Nalani Makhlouf at No. 2 and Nina Kuchar was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at No. 3 over Adina Delic.

The doubles teams came through, too. Gretta Hill and Aria Barberio had to work hard to secure a 7-6, 6-4 win at No. 1, while Sophie Keller and Kendall Temcheck took a 6-4, 5-3 nod at No. 2.
