2026 Pennsylvania State Little League Intermediate 50/70 Baseball Tournament roundup

The Pennsylvania Intermediate state championship tournament continues Wednesday at Horst Field in Greencastle; three games are on tap beginning at 11:00 a.m. when Newville takes on Haverford, followed by West Side vs. East Stroudsburg at 2;00, and Abington vs. Indiana at 5:00. All games will be broadcast on Mid Penn Broadcasting. Click here to listen.

Offense dominated in the opening round, with three lopsided victories in which the winning teams outscored their opponents 57-8.

 

Tuesday”s results:
Haverford 19 LeBoeuf 2: Lucas DiLodovico drove in five runs on three hits, including a 3-run homer, an RBI double in the second inning, and an RBI single in the third inning to lead Haverford’s 15-hit attack. Hverford scored 12 runs in the first, five in the second, and two in the third in a game shortened to three innings for the 15-run rule.

East Stroudsburg 21, Abington 4: Billy Malachowsky had two hits and four RBI to lead East Stroudsburg, which erupted for seven runs in the fourth and eight in the fifth. East Stroudsburg had eleven hits and took advantage of 13 walks. Brayden Cikovic pitched a complete game, allowing four runs on five hits.

West Side 17 Indiana 2: West Side scored in every inning, highlighted by a 12-run second in a game shortened to four innings. Michael Davis, Hunter Neitz, and Chase Buckler each had two hits as West Side pounded out thirteen hits in the win. Brayden Leech pitched three innings, allowing just one hit, one walk, and striking out five.
