Greencastle 11-12 International All Stars captured their sixth consecutive District 14 Championship, defeating Carlisle Thursday night at Shippensburg 8-2 despite having only one hit in the game. Greencastle capitalized on 12 walks issued by Carlisle.

Greencastle will now advance to the Section 7 tournament in New Freedom, PA, July 18-22. The Section 7 winner will advance to the Pennsylvania State Championship Tournament.

Noah Sleighter earned the win for Greencastle, allowing  seven hits and two runs over six innings, striking out five and walking two

Greencastle jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. Isaac Snodderly reached on a passed ball on a third strike and eventually scored on a wild pitch.

Carlisle tied the game at 1-1 in the third on a two-out solo home run from Issah Stackfield.

Greencastle would put the game away with four runs in the third and four in the fourth inning, three straight walks, and a passed ball gave Greencastle a 2-1 lead, they made it 3-1on another passed ball, and two more runs scored on an infield groundout.

Issac Snodderly led off the fifth with a walk, went to second on a passed ball, and then Bryce Eaton singled, scoring Snodderly to make it 6-1. Greencastle would add two more runs on an error, a walk, and defensive indifference.

Greencastle is now 6-0, sweeping pool play and the District 14 championship, outscoring opponents 73-7, winning five games by the 10- or 15-run rule, committing just one error in seven games, and posting a 1.61 ERA.
