The Shalom Lady Flames had a solid 39–34 win over the Allegany Lady Campers from Frostburg, Maryland, bouncing back after a tough loss to Chambersburg on Saturday.
The Flames started slowly, managing just five points in the first quarter, but found their rhythm in the second. Shalom poured in 16 points to take a 21–16 lead into halftime. Allegany edged the Flames by one in the third quarter, but Shalom’s defense stood strong down the stretch, holding off a late Camper surge to secure the victory.
The Flames were led by their three seniors, with Addison Adams scoring 16 points, Emily Rebok adding 11, and Maya Lehman chipping in 8. Junior Julianna Myers contributed 4 points. Shalom turned in a strong team defensive effort against a feisty Allegany squad.
Up next, the Lady Flames travel to Mercersburg Academy to take on the Lady Blue Storm tomorrow evening at 6:00 PM.
