Greencastle-Antrim 3, West Perry 0: The Blue Devils remained unbeaten by trouncing he Mustangs in a Mid Penn Colonial match in Elliottsburg on Thursday night, with scores of 25-11, 25-17 and 25-10.

Greencastle, ranked No. 1 in District 3 in Class 3A, is now 9-0 (8-0 MPC).

Wren Roberts put up some consistent numbers for G-A, credited with 6 kills, 11 service points, 3 aces and 11 digs. Aby Eagler (13 kills, 7 points, 8 digs) and Kylie Kerns (4 kills, 6 digs, 16 assists) were also all over the scorebook.

Hayden Baer came up with 5 kills and 11 points, Jordyn Wagner was strong at the net with 6 kills and 4 blocks, Kinzee Hudson had 9 points and 6 digs and Kaitlyn Alvey contributed 14 assists.

West Perry 10, Greencastle-Antrim 0: The Blue Devils were defeated by a strong Mustang team in a Mid Penn Colonial game Thursday night in Elliottsburg.

“We played hard and the team left it all on the field,” G-A coach Keara Allshouse said. “The entire team worked to defend and I am proud of how we played.

“Maggie Spidel and the entire defensive unit had some amazing saves, including Spidel’s fantastic air dribble.”

Rebecca Jones made 17 saves in goal for the Blue Devils (4-5, 3-5 MPC). The team had 13 defensive saves, led by Spidel (4), Acacia Long (4), Ava Linka (4) and Caroline Barnes (1).
