Chambersburg 1, Greencastle-Antrim 0: The Trojans came out on top in a non-league game Saturday against the Blue Devils at Trojan Stadium, with a first-half goal the difference.

Chambersburg’s Sadie Walter scored her first goal of the season on a laser shot that went in around the 10-minute mark from 25 yards out.

“They were organized behind the ball and managed to snuff out our attacking chances as well as pushing us on the counterattack,” Trojan coach Paul Unruh said of Greencastle.

“(Defender) Moriah Martin and goalkeeper Ashley Mitchell did excellent work to minimize the threat of Greencastle’s speedy attack.”

Chambersburg is 4-3, while the Blue Devils are 2-7.

Chambersburg 6, Greencastle-Antrim 0: Cardson Ymonnice was a force on offense for the unbeaten Trojans in a non-league win at Kaley Field on Saturday against the Blue Devils.

Ymonnice tallied 3 goals and added an assist to lead an offense that piled up 33 shots.

Chambersburg coach Corey Grove said, “Cardson was definitely the man of the match today with a hat trick and an assist. I’m glad he got on the score sheet to gain some confidence going into a tough stretch of games this week.”

Nate Folk, Brandon Arana and Noah Mulewich each scored one goal, while Adrain Olvera, Bramere Pittman, Benny Interiano and Mulewich posted assists.

“Collectively we played well, moved the ball well and finished when we needed to,” Grove said. “It was good to get another shutout, too.”

Tyson Shanholtz made 2 saves for Chambersburg (5-0-3). The Blue Devils are 1-7.
