Greencastle-Antrim 3, Red Land 0: The Blue Devils remained undefeated by blanking the Patriots in a non-league home match on Saturday morning.
Greencastle dominated, taking games of 25-7, 25-13 and 25-13. The Blue Devils have not lost a set in regular match play.
Kylie Kerns piled up 25 assists to advance her career total to over 1,000. She also had 10 service points and 8 digs.
The Blue Devils (5-0) spread the stats around. Abby Eagler had 14 kills, 9 points, 3 aces and 7 digs, while Wren Roberts produced 6 kills, 13 points and 4 aces.
Kaitlyn Alvey had 11 points, 4 aces and 8 assists, Hayleigh Lowe had 6 kills and 2 blocks, Hayden Baer connected on 7 blocks and Jordyn Wagner had 2 blocks.
CROSS COUNTRY
G-A competes in PTXC meet: The PennTrack XC Invitational was held in Kutztown on Saturday.
The top two Greencastle boys on the 5,000-meter course were Logan Bohrer, who placed 27th with a time of 17:45.2, and Abric Coy, who had a time of 19:15.6 to take 66th place.
For the girls, Avery Russell came in 41st in 21:29.9, while Sophie Denlinger had a time of 25:11.5 to placed 111th.
