MOUNT HOLLY SPRINGS-Greencastle 11/12 won their fifth straight District 14 West Championship with a 10-0 win over South Middleton at Woodcrafters Field at South Middleton, Thursday night, and will now advance to the Section 7 Tournament at Greencastle, which begins July 12.

Ethan Allen (L). threw a no-hitter and Brinx Bonillas (R) hit a three-run triple to lead Greencastle to their fifth consecutive District 14 Championship.
Ethan Allen pitched a no-hitter for Greencastle, striking out 11 and walking three. Allen was overpowering with the fastball throughout the game and faced just 17 batters in five innings, two over the minimum. Greencastle turned a double play in the second inning. Eight of the eleven strikeouts were looking.
A seven-run Greencastle fifth inning blew open a close game. Leading 3-0, Greencastle loaded the bases and then scored seven two-out runs to end the game with the 10-run rule. Back-to-back walks to Greer Barkdoll and Kohen Mann produced two runs to make it 5-0, and then Brinx Bonillas unloaded the bases with a three-run triple, putting Greencastle up 8-0. Ethan Allen followed with a run-producing single, making it 9-0. Brady Swain ended it with a run-scoring single to give Greencastle the District 14 Championship.
Greencastle made it 1-0 in the bottom of the first when Greer Barkdoll scored on a wild pitch.
Brody Sprague scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the second to increase the Greencastle lead to 2-0.
Greencastle went up 3-0 in the bottom of the fourth on an RBI single from Ryan Cordell.
Brinx Bonillas, Ethan Allen, and Brody Sprague each had two hits to pace Greencastle’s 10-hit attack.
Greencastle will play Dillsburg on Saturday, July 12, at 1:00 p.m. at Clary Field in the first game of the four-team, double-elimination Section 7 Tournament.
