BOYS: On Monday evening, Southern Fulton traveled to Meyersdale for an ICC Inter-Division contest, which the Indians won 60 to 43.
Southern Fulton (5-7, 0-3 ICC South), led 32 to 23 at the half, and 46 to 39 after the third quarter. The Indians then used a 14 to 4 final period to pull away from the Red Raiders and secure the victory.
Southern Fulton was led by Gaven Mellott with 24 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 9 steals. Trentin Cain had 18 points 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. Dayton Carpenter had 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. Sam Stotler had 6 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Cam Cain & Teagan Ritz added 2 points each. Meyersdale was led by Ryan Sechler with 11 points.
Southern Fulton will play Berkeley Springs at home on Tuesday, January 14th, at 6pm.

Cam Cain led Southern Fulton with 12 points
GIRLS: The Southern Fulton Indians (5-4 1-1 ICC South) hosted the Red Raiders Monday night. Both teams struggled to finish underneath, but the Indians took the lead at the beginning of the game and held onto it throughout the rest of the game en route to a 47-27 win over Myersdale.
Coach Wilhemina Wilt said, “We got in foul trouble early on and had to adjust our play. The girls did nicely staying composed and playing smart on defense after the adjustments.”
Harvey led with 25 points, Johnson had 6, Ah Loe had 4, Hoopengardner had 4, Gregory had 2, Mellott had 2, Burrows had 2, and Smith had 1.
Southern Fulton will host McConnellsburg on Thursday, January 16th.
