Shalom Lady Flames roll to victory over Harrisburg Academy

The Shalom Lady Flames kicked off 2025 with a dominant performance, overpowering the Harrisburg Academy Lady Spartans on Tuesday evening in Harrisburg. After a slow start in the first quarter, as they worked to shake off a three-week layoff, the Flames gained momentum in the second quarter, scoring 18 points and never looking back. They cruised to an impressive 53-14 victory.

Emily Rebok picked up right where she left off last year, leading the Flames with 19 points and grabbing 5 rebounds. Freshman Sydney Moore contributed 10 points, while fellow freshman Chloe Gearhart added 6. Addison Adams and Kaitlyn Thomas each chipped in 7 points, with Thomas dominating the boards with a team-high 9 rebounds. Adams and Maya Lehman showcased excellent playmaking, each tallying 6 assists.

It was a fantastic win to start the new year! Up next, the Flames will visit Fairfield on Thursday with a 7:30 p.m. game time.
