Southern Fulton traveled to Portage High School in a non-conference matchup and were defeated by the Mavericks 59 to 36.   

The Indians (2-2, 0-1 ICC South), trailed 27 to 19 at halftime, and despite getting control of the pace of play in the second half, could not battle back into the contest. 

The Indians were led by Gaven Mellott with 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals.  Trentin Cain had 10 points, and 5 rebounds.  Sammy Stotler had 7 points, and 2 assists.  Teagan Ritz had 4 points, and 10 rebounds.  Ashton Truax added 4 points. 

Portage was led by Bode Layo with 18 points.
