Southern Fulton drops opener to Fannett Metal

Fannett Metal came to Southern Fulton for an ICC South game on Friday night and defeated the Indians 39 to 34. Southern Fulton (0-1, 0-1 ICC South) trailed 7 to 6 at the end of the first quarter and 17 to 10 at the half.

SF came back to take the lead in the 4th quarter, but Fannett Metal responded by retaking the lead and closing the game with foul shots at the end.

The Indians were led by  Sammy Stotler with 14 points and 6 steals.  Teagan Ritz had 9 points and 4 rebounds.   Gaven Mellott had 4 points and 5 rebounds.   Trentin Cain had 3 points and 2 blocks.

The Tigers were led by Broc Hostler and Evan Weingart, each with 13 points.

Southern Fulton next plays Claysburg-Kimmel at home on Wednesday, December 11th, in a non-conference game.
