The Mid Penn Conference released its football all-star teams and team Sportsmanship Awards for the fall season on Saturday.
Six area players earned first-team honors in football, while James Buchanan led the way in sportsmanship awards, with four.
In the Commonwealth Division, Chambersburg linebacker Stanley Lozius was selected for the first team. The Trojans’ Trever Luther was a second team on offense (WR), defense (DB) and special teams (kicker).
Carter McCauley of Greencastle-Antrim made the first team on defense at a safety and on offense as a wide receiver for the Colonial Division.
In the Keystone Division, first-team picks for Shippensburg included Noah Garvin (DL), Eli Bailey (LB), Wade Craig (C) and Janye Statum (RB).
James Buchanan won sportsmanship awards for boys cross country, girls cross country, girls tennis and golf. The only other local team to earn an award was Chambersburg in girls tennis.
