G-A’s Camden Eby qualifies: The Mid Penn Conference held a qualifier for the conference championship tournament on Wednesday on a rainy day at Manada G.C.

Greencastle-Antrim’s Camden Eby was the only local golfer to make it to the tournament. The rest of the field qualified based on regular season performances.

Eby had a couple of birdies early in his round and finished with an 80, good for fourth place in the field.

The Blue Devils’ other competitors included Dillon McDonald, who missed by one shot with his 84, Ben Horst (87) and Bryce Davidson (95).

For Chambersburg, Brady Sites shot a an 86. James Buchanan’s Taylor Blair and Abram Stock each shot 85, Shippensburg’s Jack Johnson had a 92 and Farin Parks of Waynesboro shot 92.

Greencastle-Antrim 3, James Buchanan 0: The Blue Devils won games of 25-17, 25-22 and 22-19. Abby Eagler had 11 kills and Kylie Kerns 9; Alaina Garling had 14 service points and 3 aces; and Wren Roberts had 17 digs.
