Greencastle-Antrim places 5th: Eagles Crossing was playing tough Wednesday afternoon and the Blue Devils put only one player in the top 15 during a Mid Penn Colonial match.

Dillon McDonald shot 90 to finish in a tie for 13th for Greencastle (13-17).

Waynesboro’s Tyler Fortney posted a one-over par 73 to take medalist honors and his Indians (18-12) took second place.

Shippensburg (23-7) was the team winner, as Kaylee Beckenbaugh (2nd, 78), Jack Johnson (3rd, 82) and Ben Horgos (tie 4th, 83) ere in the top 5.

For James Buchanan (5-25), Taylor Blair tied for 4th with an 83 and Abram Stock was 7th with an 84.

Shippensburg 5, Greencastle-Antrim 0: The Greyhounds dominated the first 3 quarters and captured a Mid Penn Colonial game on Wednesday afternoon at Ship.

“As a team, we left it all on the field, and our fourth quarter was our best quarter,” G-A coach Keara Allshouse said.

“Captain Kelsey Beauchamp came up with many defensive saves and interceptions and the entire midfield did a really good job at recovering in defense.”
