HAGERSTOWN, Md. – The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers scored four goals in the second half and defeated Heritage Academy 5-0 Tuesday in a Mason Dixon Christian Conference boys soccer game.

The Blazers got goals from Gage Brookens, Turner Egolf, A. J. Sloan, Liam Wenger and Noah Waltz in their season-opener. Adding assists were Brookens, Wenger, Waltz, Titus Hott and Elias Hott.

Goalkeeper Quentin Cooper earned the shutout.

HAGERSTOWN, Md . – The Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers opened their girls volleyball season by dropping a 3-0 decision to Heritage Academy Tuesday in a Mason Dixon Christian Conference match.

The Blazers dropped games of 25-20, 25-15 and 25-19.

Stat leaders were Reagan Witmer with seven kills and four blocks, Allison Rowe with nine digs, Kaitlyn Garvin with eight digs and 13 assists, and Sydney Wiegand and Gloria Martin with four kills each.
